Physical Traits

Dave is scrawny, even for an Undead. Whilst he believes himself to be intimidating, as undeads go he looks pretty underwhelming. He is always wearing a red mask which he has for the sole reason of thinking it makes him look cool and despite his weak stature he is always seen carrying a large backpack which conceals the large amasment of weaponry he needs to compensate for his lack of physical strength.

He is also very agile, as all rogues should be, using this mostly for cheap shots at his opponents when he cannot simply reduce them to ash by way of lasers.

Every one of his body parts has been replaced at some point, he hardly even feels limb loss anymore, meaning getting an arm hacked off is more of a momentary annoyance.

Newly appointed commander of the racially diverse unit of S.A.L.D. (Silvermoon Army of Local Defense) after his predescesser, Maruu, was killed in what Dave described as both "a noble selfless act that probably looked awesome" and "75 megatons of pure unbridled death".

Occupation

Most likely the best undead engineer in the history of ever, specialising in weapon manufacture. He has a license to sell weaponry from Bilgewater Cartel, because noone else was insane enough to actually legalise his stuff.

Family

The Gravgot family has the unusual trait of 'Depleting Humanity Syndrome', a totally made up syndrome which essentially means that next to no Gravgots have made it to the age of 50 while remaining a human, Dave for example became a Forsaken at the age of 30.

His remaining close family consists of his sister, Eclyptic Gravgot, now a Worgen. His until recently estranged brother, Rarge, also a forsaken who Dave grudgingly accepts the existence of. And Daves fiance and son from before he died, there whereabouts and status are currently unknown.

Background

Backstory

Born in Southshore, Dave was risen as an assassin by his father and as an alcoholic by his mother. With the capacity to kill but lacking the appropriate subtelty Dave had to change his residence frequently in order to get away with his missions.

At the age of 25, Dave recieved his first melee ranged weaponry, a sword named Casdin and thus began his love of murder. He met his to be wife at the age of 29, they decided to get married after a year when dave accidently got her pregnant. Shortly before the wedding however, Dave was killed by a falling street sign, it has been theorised that the sign was rigged to fall by Daves old employers as punishment to Davefor giving their job a bad name, more likely though it was bad luck.

And so began Daves life as a forsaken, that is after 7 years of being anderground, the bump to the head caused him to forget most of his life and he has been attempting to find out more about himself sincce. During this 7 years Dave was buried next to an old Goblin junkyard, 7 years of exposure to the almost depleted kaja'mite remains enhanced Daves intelligence, hence his engineering career.

When risen Dave started off where he left off, the odd murder and pickpocketing and using his new intelligence to make explosives. But as an Undead this was expected of him, as such people showed understanding to his assholery and he started making friends, and so began his slow descent into becoming a half decent person, a change he still resents.

Recent

Like all forsaken, Dave became almost fanatically loyal to Sylvannas, despite his otherwise apathetic nature to the Horde as a whole, he would gladly jump off a cliff if Sylvannas ordered it. His somehow likable nature earnt him some good friends and also some friends he wishes would leave him alone, this gained him the second in command position with S.A.L.D. a position he promptly abused.

Dave has investigated into what he forgot about his life, and with finding records kept about him and talking to people who knew him in his life (mainly the newly sentient spirit of his sword, Casdin) he's found out just about everything, he's not impressed with himself.

Daves newfound but still underdeveloped ability to display affection have even caused him to find love a few (short lived) times. Decisions the he adds to the long list of those he wishes to forget.

After the death of his superior, Dave was promoted to Commander of his unit of S.A.L.D. this prmopted him to start taking his job seriously, as such they've actually started arresting people again, with extreme prejudice, it's a good time.

Family Background

The Gravgot family is one of the oddest and creepiest families there is. Throughout history they have made their money through death, be this mercenary, assassin, graverobber or undertaker, mostly the first two.

The family emblem features a skull with a knife through its forehead, which represents there love and desire to stab people in the face.

Every Gravgot has 3 distinguishing characteristics: A love of death and the causing thereof it, a hatred of magic caused by their lack of the appropriate intelligence to use it, and the unexplainable characteristic of DHS (Depleting Humanity Syndrome), which causes them to stop being human at some point in their midlife.

Examples of this include: Pheilkaná Gravgot who tampered in Fel energies and became corrupted beyond recognition. Margy Gravgot who attempted Druidism and is now being kept as a household cat. And Grandfather John Gravgot who inexplicably turned into a dragon. Needless to say, family reunions are awkward.

Criminal Record

Since death, Dave hasn't been arrested, mostly due to his ties with the local guard. Not to say he hasn't commited crimes, he's a fan of occassional petty theft from the local inn, the odd spot of arson and illegal pedaling of even more illegal weaponry. People don't seem to care to much though, he's just having a little fun.
