Name[]

Sir Dogan "The Dog" Stoneforge

Physical Traits[]

An average sized, muscular Bronzebeard Dwarf with a hefty black beard and hair with a ponytail in it, usually hidden under a helmet or a hat

He looks just like any other dwarf, face covered in beard, large nose and a pair of sky blue eyes, that radiate either calmness or anger depending on his mood.

Personality[]

Dogan is a kind person, easy to approach, and friendly to almost everyone he talks to. Despite his kind nature he has a very short temper and gets angry very easily should someone annoy him.

As a warrior his weapons are his "best friends" while he may not name them he is constantly inspecting them should the need any repairs.

Abilities and skills[]

Master of weapons[]

Dogan's heavy training of weapon arts makes him a master of all forms of close quarters combat, His own prefence is a sword and shield.

Master smith[]

Like his ancestors before him Dogan is an excellent blacksmith

Rage channeling[]

Until recently Dogan was unable to control his anger. Due to new training he has learned to channel his rage more effectively, unleashing it in a bright flash of fury, his eyes turn bright red and his muscles bulken even more, further increasing his strenght

Combat style[]

Dogan is a deadly foe in arms range, effectively using any form of melee weapon (excluding daggers). Oddly enough unlike most dwarves he dislikes the use of maces as he sees them as clunky and inpractical when compared to a longsword or even a nicely crafted axe. Depending on the situation he utilises two particular stances, one which prefers cautious backfooted style or his other stance where he goes all out assault with little defenisive abilities. When fighting he executes perfected, precise strikes, to force the opponent to either back away or take the hit. Dogan's shield is just as dangerous as his blade, using the shield to the extend it's almost a weapon not a defensive tool, striking his foes with it, however the shield is also used to deflect projectiles, block incoming strikes and even reflecting certain types of spells back at his enemies.

Even though being a warrior he's highly skilled using his rifle, his own record is shooting a moving bear 52 yards away. He holds the rifle at hand at almost all times, capable of swapping his melee weapons to the rifle in moments.

Background[]

Born roughly 100 years before the events of the first war to the Family of Stoneforge. Firstborn son of Fumgar and Armerra Stoneforge. Fumgar had hoped that should he have a son he would be a glorious paladin of the Light and was slightly disappointed when the infant displayed no affinity to wield, let alone control the Light. However as Dogan grew older he (much to his Fumgar's suprise) displayed remarkable talent with an old, dull axe Fumgar had given the boy. Thrilled with this Fumgar instantly began training him when the boy reached fitting age. Dogan almost instantly adapted many arts of weapon combat. As Dogan reached adulthood Fumgar immediately signed him for Ironforge Military. Under the guidance of his father and the head trainer of the Military Dogan began rigorous training.

20 years later Dogan was on a trip to the Hinderlands where he met a girl named Galena Windbeak. These two immediately showed affection towards one another and six years later the couple married and had a child they named Lorin.

24 years had passed since the birth of Lorin. Now a Lieutenant in the Ironforge Military Dogan was both a loving father and an excellent warrior, Something he was striving for.

Dogan lived the times of the First War in peace with his family,

Six years after the fall of Stormwind sitings of the Horde's troops amassing in Khaz Modan increased, Now 90 years old Dogan would soon face one of his greatest challenges so far, He would fight, side by side his father against the Orcish Horde. Eventually the Dwarves were forced to retreat into Ironforge Mountain as the Horde laid siege on the City. The siege was eventually repelled and Dogan, alongside Fumgar and the Ironforge Military joined the Alliance of Lordaeron to end the threat of the Horde.

While he nor his father took part in the Battle of the Dark Portal they did participate in the siege of Blackrock Mountain.

Dogan did not participate in the Third War. instead he remained in Dun Morogh, looking after his now severy ill father and his now adult son. Two years after the end of the War Fumgar died away. Right before dying he gave Dogan the remants of the Stonforge Battlegear and the legendary Stormblade Battleaxe. His last words were to his son "Keep ta 'onor o' ta Stoneforge 'eld 'igh lad*.

Family Background[]

The Stoneforge family line has always been a respected long line of Blacksmiths, Gemcutters and brave Warriors and Righteous Paladins. This old line of Bronzebeard Dwarves is revered amongst certain indivituals. While the Stoneforge line might not be royal nor noble they've earned they're place at Dwarven society.

Most renown Stoneforge artifacts are; The Stonforge Battlegear (in posession of Dogan Stoneforge) And the Legendary Stormblade Battleaxe (also in Dogan's posession) These instruments of War were forged in the time before the War of the Three Hammers and have always been passed on from father to son, mother to daughter.

Today this old line is slowly being revitalized, It's current living members being Dogan, his brother, Lorin and Dogan's cousin Hilda Stoneforge

Equipment and posessions[]

Throught times Dogan has acuired a wide array of weapons, armor and other interesting and (somewhat unusual) artifacts, Here's a list of couple of his most prized posessions:

TSSW java

"Fear the son of earth bearing this shield for he is as resolute as the mountains" is written in Dwarven around the center of the shield

1.Stormblade Battleaxe

2.Remnants of the Stoneforge battlegear

3.His current shield

4.A draenic blade, infused with the power of the Light

5.Fumgar's old pipe

6.His rifle

Nes4k

The rifle

7. Armerra's old locket, containing a family portrait

and finally, his current longsword

Personal Notes[]

I've always wanted to RP a warrior and a dwarf, so over time this idea took form of this hardy Dwarf as they are one of the best warriors the Alliance has to offer. Despite i'm fairly ambitious (irl) Dogan on the other hand is my exact opposite, humble which I incorporated into his story.

And a word about the "Stoneforge Battlegear" ingame it has only 2 pieces remaining and they are Polished Spaulders of Valor and Polished Breastplate of Valor.

And the "Stormblade Battleaxe" is Bloodied Arcanite Reaper, so use your imagination when he's wearing them and claiming them to be something they're not

Current Status[]

Dogan is alive and well, working for the Argent Dawn Crusaders, willing to aid them the instant he's required.
