Ebonhart grew up in a peasant's cottage in Elwynn Forest, ignorant of his family nobility until the death of his mother. Ebonhart followed his late mother's instructions and found the family treasure buried beneath the cellar in a house in Raven Hill, Duskwood, formerly known as Grand Hamlet, Elwynn. Abandoning Raven Hill town to the ravages of the undead from the cemetary, he resolved immediately to put to rights his poverty-striken history, and walked to Stormwind. He found himself a squire along the journey, and immediately began buying expensive clothes, and began to drink and gamble away his new fortune.
