Background[]

Madora Subita, He was once a warlock who lived and breathed for the arts of dark magic and the arts of fire. He was born in the Redridge Mountains just south of the Burning Steppes. He had always been fascinated by the dragons in the Burning Steppes and their abilities with fire. Which was what caused him to study the arts himself. Madora's family all lived together in the mountains, and worked as guards of the borders between the Redridge Mountains and the Burning Steppes

Madora and his brother Nitaro were considered two talented brothers among their family and always competed against each other. Their hunger for power would never change through the years that passed. But as they grew up Madora was the one who was granted the title as the leader of their tribe, which caused Nitaro to become jealous. But Nitaro's jealousy was never shown, he always stood by Madora's side acting previliged to everyone in the tribe, because he hoped that he would at last grant him the same acknowledgement Madora got.

Far away from their life in the mountains was a Kaldorei by the name Shinoda Alaeshar who was a old druid that lived within Ashenvale. Shinoda has been considered ignorant in the eyes of many of the Kaldorei that know him because he doesn't agree the Kaldorei should form alliance with the races of Azeroth. Shinoda believe the Kaldorei are the superior race of the world, and other races aren't worthy compared to the Kaldorei. Once he decided that the least he could do is using the bond between the races to help him restore the lost immortality of the Kaldorei. He disbelieved Tyrande Whisperwind's path is the right path for the Kaldorei to take.

Knowing the importance that his plan didn't get to much out in the world, Shinoda traveled far and wide to find a group of humans with useful abilities that not many knew of. In his travel up across Stranglethorn Vale and the forests he ended up in the mountains where Madora and his family lived. The sight of a Kaldorei was quite rare to the Subita family but they welcomed him within their tribe. Shinoda explained that he knew old elven magic he could teach them to their arsenal of powers, and he would grant them a part of the elves' immortality if they would help him restore it.

Interested in these new powers the Subita stopped guarding the borders and traveled with him to Ashenvale. Knowing that Madora was the leader and most powerful in the tribe, Shinoda asked Madora to use his magic together with his own in a ritual. The ritual would give them a power to give the whole tribe, the blessing of a life as long as a mortal Kaldorei. Madora only saw that as a good thing and agreed to complete the ritual.

What Madora didn't know was that he was being fooled. Shinoda who had greater powers than his own used the ritual to curse the whole tribe with a life forever bound in shadows. The tribes mind started to fade into the shadows. They became brainwashed and acted under Shinoda's order. Just as Shinoda had planned he used the tribe as an army to help him invade horde bases and slaughter everyone who stood in his way. Madora who was the one that completed the ritual realised fast what had happened, and stood in front of the situation that his whole family had been cursed and brainwashed and it was himself who had done it.

While acting as he supported Shinoda, Madora tried everything to heal his family and bring them back to normal. He spended many days and weeks studying the magics of healing and ressurection. But he always failed his attempts. Tyrande Whisperwind, the High Priestess of Elune and leader of Darnassus, told him that his family had become a threat to the forest and she saw Shinoda's work as corrupt, and not the path any Kaldorei should take. She gave Madora a mission to kill his whole family to make sure they didn't do more damage.

Many days went and Madora was still chocked over the mission he got. He simply couldn't kill his own family. But he couldn't let them act the way they did either. After weeks of thinking he finally decided that he had no other option but to follow Tyrande's orders.

Madora went to Robito who was his best friend in the tribe. Before the curse Robito was always the tribe's brightness. He always brought smiles to peoples' faces and helped people out when they needed it. Being of Robitos nature he was more resistant to the curse than the rest of the family. Madora consulted Robito with Tyrande's orders and in generousity Robito offered his body as a sacrifice for Madora to incarnate into if something went wrong and the conditions for a reincarnation were made.

The night came when Madora had to do his mission. He was standing looking down where his tribe was in Ashenvale. The attack began as a stealth attack, he took down one after another. Soon the tribe began to take notice and he ended up fighting half of his tribe. Using all his powers he finally came down to just one. His brother Nitaro was the last one standing. At that moment Madora had no powers left and he realised that he was going to fail.

Shinoda appeared from the shadows in the shapeshifted form of a cat. The cat turned into Shinoda's form of a Kaldorei and he looked down on the dead bodies and on Madora. Without a word Shinoda pulled his staff pointing it towards Madora.

In a strange elvish language Shinoda said something while green energies formed around his staff. He then released all the energies upon Madora.

Madora opened his eyes finding himself surrounded by trees and flowers. He looked at the sky and saw it was red with flames all over. He walked around in a endless forest and every day seemed the same. Soon he realised the flames in the sky was the same as his tribe saw when they were under the curse. And the neverending trees and flowers meant that Shinoda had sealed him inside his magical staff.

For weeks Madora wandered alone in the neverending forest. He was starting to lose his mind, he had only heard rumors about Shinoda's magical staff. He wondered if he ever would come out of there? Days went to being weeks. Weeks went to being month. And months went to being years. Madora lost his sense of time. He lost his senses with himself, he gave up on finding his way out and realised he was trapped there forever.

After many years in the staff, Madora saw something. He saw his brother Nitaro standing before him. Nitaro said that Madora had become weak. That now he was the leader and he would finally defeat Madora. Pictures started getting into Madoras head. He started to remember his past and slowly he felt a bit of his power coming back to him. He heard his friend Robito's voice inside him. He remembered Robito's sacrifice, and what their tribe once stood for.

Unexpected Madora casted a demonic connection upon Nitaro, creating a connection between them. He pulled out all Nitaro's powers out of his body. Nitaro fell to the ground and in the same second Madora felt like he was falling. Next he knew he was standing in front of Shinoda with Nitaro in the background. Everything was like the night he had been pulled inside Shinoda's staff, all the dead bodyies, everything was there. He realised the time he spend in the staff and the time outside weren't the same. What appeared as many years for him was only a few minutes in the real world.

Shinoda raised his staff again. Madora attempted to get away in case Shinoda would to seal him again. But he was to late. A lightning of Shinoda's hurricane cloud struck Madora and suddenly he found himself outside his body. Sorrounded by the flames of his family curse. This time he was really dead. He saw hes family in the flames, all in the pain and misery this eternal hell the curse caused.

In his death Madora seeked towards Robito's sacrificed body. In the real time it wasnt long ago Robito had sacrificed himself. And with Nitaro's power he could incarnate himself inside Robitos body and start what hopefully would be his last undertaking: remove Nitaro and Shinoda from the world.

When he found the place Robito's body was hidden he used all Nitaro's power to incarnate himself into the body. After many days he started to become alive again. The first thing he realised when he came to himself in his new body was that he had lost all his powers. And he was still cursed. He realised that what he first needed to de would be to regain his strength. To do that he traveled from Ashenvale back to Azeroth. He traveled to Stormwind and down in the forests, hoping one day he would gain the same powers he once had.

He cloaked himself under a new name, Toobi, so that Nitaro and Shinoda would never hear of Madora being alive. As he was doing small missions within Elwynn Forest Madora met a person named Richter Alexis Schneider. Richter was a officer in a guild called Gradual, and he asked if Toobi would join Gradual and help them on their causes. Madora took it as a offer that could help him regaining his power. As he ventured out in the world and did missions for different people and different tribes he also helped Gradual in their missions and goals.

As he regained his power he decided to take a different step off from his path as a warlock. He wanted to study the ways of becoming a mage. And he decided to specialise his magic on fire since that was closest to his old abilities. He trained day and night and studied in the library of stormwind. Weeks passed, month passed. The guild Gradual he was in split up in the middle of his path. He rejoined his old companions from Gradual in a new guild called Fortified. And soon enough their leader Miss Silvesia Riaema-rose ranked Madora up to become one of the officers in the guild.

Times passed and Madora traveled through Northrend. He was doing missions for the Wyrmrest Accord in attempt to get alliance with the dragonflights. He soon recieved hes own rideable drake from them and flew around Northrend doing important missions for different alliances. He traveled far and wide and soon he realised his power was near the power he had as a warlock. He decided what he had obtained so far would be okay to complete hes next goal: To free himself and his family from the curse.

He contacted his guild leader Silvesia and he met up with Silviesia and Ethilio Trollsbane, another member within the ranks of fortified. He told them appreciated all Gradual and Fortified had given him. And the time had come for their path to seperate. He then revealed his identity because he felt he owed them it after all this time he'd acted as Toobi. Just as he did that Nitaro's voice yelled from the distance, he had finally found Madora and wanted to take his life. Madora and hes brother Nitaro then faced each other in battle in front of Silvesia and Ethilio.

The battle ended quicker than expected because Nitaro didn't know of Madora's new forces as a mage. The battle ended with Nitaro's death and Madora's victory. Just as the battle had ended Madora started a ritual of teleportation and said to Silvesia and Ethilio that their path would meet again someday. At the moment he teleported away, he was no longer a part of Fortified.

After leaving Fortified, Madora spend time looking for old companions and possible new companions to form a organisation. The organisation's goal was to gather five parts of a trinket that would remove the curse from Madora and his family. All the trinket parts were hidden in the lands of the Scourge in the northern part of Eastern Kingdoms. Madora sought out Deathknights around the world who had just been freed from the Lich King's grasp. He made a deal: He helped them get revenge on the Scourge and they helped him cure himself and his family.

As time went he had finally gathered ten members on his organisation. Together they acted under the name "Atra Incendia" And worked within the lands of the Scourge. They went to dangerous places and faced many dangerous situations, the search for the trinket parts went for a long time. But at last they had finally gathered the five parts, and the deathknights had got their revenge. Madora then traveled far from the Scourge lands to the Wyrmrest Temple. There he seeked out Alexstrasza the Life-Binder, she was the only one he could think of that would be able to remove the curse from himself and his tribe.

She said the only way to cure his family was by using the trinket combined with himself as the medium of the ritual. She then used the trinket upon Madora, in pain Madora felt the release of flames and misery, then he heard chilling voices inside his mind. The voices came from hes family who thanked him, he saw the ghosts of his family smiling at him as they passed to the other side safely. But one was missing, his best friend Robito wasnt there.

After the ritual was done Madora came to himself. He found himself surrounded by flames and without being able to see anything. He felt the presence of everything around him but couldn't see them. Appearently the ritual that was freeing his family from the curse had made the curse stronger on him because he was the medium. Alextrasza said there was only one magic that would free the medium. Self sacrifice.

To get the curse away Madora would have to sacrifice himself for those close to him. Kindness was what would lift the curse and having him pass safely to the other side. Madora thanked Alextrasza for her help and said he would go back to Darnassus and hopefully the day would come when he could sacrifice himself for those he love.

Far away in Northrend was Robito who didn't appear when the family went to the other side. Robito had been ressurected by the Lich King in a new body and worked as his servant. Robito felt when the curse was lifted of the family and shadows dissapeard from hes mind. he had finally become himself again. He attempted to escape from the Lich King grap and succeeded ((The longer story will appear on Robito's page)) He then traveled to Darnassus to meet up with Madora. He told Madora the whole story and Madora finally understood why he didn't see Robito's ghost.

Madora told Robito the whole story on what happened after Robito sacrificed himself and Robito offered his help to save Madora from the curse. It was the only way he could ever repay Madora for freeing himself from the curse.
