Trained as a paladin in Northshire Abbey, Greg met his future wife as he
had just turned 20 years of age, and when he had finished his training he left the abbey to live with her in a farm outside the city of Andorhal. When rumours about a plague spreading in the nearby towns, Greg and his wife fled to Andorhal, seeking protection.
As the plague of undeath struck the city, Greg and his wife tried to escape frok Andorhal, but under the turmoil, Greg lost sight of her, and he was unable to go back to look for her.
Mourning the loss of his wife, the camp of survivors from Andorhall was informed by Arthas' slaughter of civillians in Stratholme. Devestated Greg swore never to use the powers taught to him in the abbey.
