Lord Ibelin Redmoore, Lord of Crestfall

Ibelin is an average sized man, with brown long hair carried in a ponytail. He has emerald green eyes and his skin is light. Ibelin also has a little spark in his eyes, and a kind smile. Ibelin seems to be well trained and is rarely seen without his swords.

Background

Growing up was not easy for Ibelin. The first ten years went fine. He followed his father on his fishing trips by Lake Everstill and learned how to fish this way. His parents were good people and thought him how to behave and to be a good person. His parents also told him stories about their homelands of Kul’Tiras, about his fathers time as the lord of Crestfall, about pirates and murlocs. Ibelin does not remember much from his first years in Redridge, but there is one day he never will forget. It was in the springtime and Ibelin was now ten years old. This was during the second war and The Horde was growing in numbers. Ibelins father and several of the men in Lakeshire were patrolling the surrounding areas. His father knew that they could not stop the orcs from coming through the gates to Redridge, so he did the only thing he could do. He took his little family and decided to move to the peaceful forests of Elwynn. Ibelin did not fully understand why they had to move, his father or mother never told him, they did not want him to worry. They did not know that Ibelin had listened to the townsfolk talking about these orcs. Ibelin was not sure what an orc was, but he could imagine them in his mind as terrible beings.

The third of May, the same year, the Redmoores packed their bags and traveled towards Elwynn. Everything seemed to work out until they got to the border. Someone was blocking their way, a man dressed in dark clothes with a hood over his face. Ibelins father stepped forward and wondered what this man wanted. Suddenly more dark men jumped out of the shadows, they surrounded the small family. Ibelin got frightened by these men, and stood close to his mother. His mother held his hand tight. His father drew out his sword and yelled for his family to run into Elwynn where the borderguards could defend them. Ibelin remember the look on his mothers face, it was full off tears and fear. She looked at her beloved husband one last time then took Ibelins hand and ran towards the forest. One of the men, who seemed to be in charge, pointed towards the runners, then sent two men after them. Ibelins mother knew what she had to do, she let go of Ibelins hand and told him to save himself. At first Ibelin did not want to run, but he could se that his mother was serious. The men were getting closer. Ibelin turned around and ran as fast as he could. While running he could hear his mothers lifeless body fall to the ground. Ibelin felt tears running down his face while running. He never looked back. From that day Ibelin grew up in Elwynn all alone, stealing food from strangers to survive. He slept outside the lions pride inn located in Goldshire. Several years later Ibelin had become a man. He received a letter from a rogue trainer in Nortshire valley. In this letter the trainer told him that he had been watching him for a few years, and that he had some potential. Ibelin got interested in this offer and went to see the man. This is where Ibelins career as a rogue began.

Family Background

Ibelins parents originated from the island nation of Kul Tiras west of Khaz Modan. His father Stefan Redmoore was the Lord of Crestfall an island located off the north coast of the main island. Kul Tiras is a nation of fishermen and seafarers. At Ibelins parents time Kul Tiras was ruled by Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore. Stefan met Ibelins mother Mary in Kul Tiras capital city Boralus. She was working at an inn there. Stefan immediately fell in love and married her a few months later. Kul Tiras and Crestfall often suffered attacks from pirates, nagas and other raiders. The nation also had problems with murlocs and other sea monsters. When Mary got pregnant, Stefan decided to leave the island with her. They did not wish to raise their child in a dangerous area. Ibelins father abandoned his position as the lord of Crestfall and left for the eastern kingdoms. The position as the lord of Crestfall is still vacant in case a member of the Redmoore family should return to the island and claim the title. The Redmoores sailed to Menethil and later moved to the peaceful lands of Redridge. Ibelin was born in the town of Lakeshire 4 years before the first war.

Criminal Record

Nothing special, he was known to steal from citizens in his youth. He never got caught though. He stole to keep himself alive.

Personal Notes

Ibelin is a good man. He always tries to do the right thing. He is also a patient man, he does not get angry often but when he does you better be careful. As told in his history Ibelin enjoys fishing. He can fish for hours, just listening to the waves. Ibelin has always been attached to the sea, he is not sure why himself. May have something to do with his parents.

Ibelin is a man you can trust with your life. He never lets you down, and he always helps his friends in any way he can. Either it comes to open locked boxes, or just to talk. Ibelin may have had a hard time growing up but he seems to be handeling it well.

Ibelin is usually in a good mood, but he may get depressed when he thinks about his past.

Current Status

Ibelin is now 29 years old. He has reclaimed his title as Lord of Crestfall. He recived one letter from his father in December. His father was killed shortly after. Enclosed with the letter was a golden ring with the coordinates to Kul Tiras carved in. Ibelin decided to travel to the island to get some answers, read: The seavoyage (Return to Crestfall). When he is not out mining or adventuring he can usually be found by the crystal lake in Elwynn Forest, or in Stormwind.
