Background

Lived in Northshire with his parents, learned the ways of the Paladins in the Abbey, read a large section of the Abbey's library and learned three languages until he became 21 years old. He then moved to Stormwind where he became a member of the Library. In the space of a few months he became member of the Mercenary Alliance and of the Royal Apothecary Society of Stormwind.

Soon after he joined the RAS, Richeron found out about the existence of a secret evil organisation known as the Dark Embrace. In paralel, Richeron discovered that he was a direct descendant of an old noble Stormwind family. More research revealed him to be the heir of the title.

Soon after the invasion of the Scourge, Richeron wrote an article about their floating pyramids and their summoning circles. This article earned him a reasonable sum of money from the Royal Court.

Some time ago, Richeron was contacted by Esme Underwood, through the elf Fae Ratbane. They briefly discused a few scientific studies regarding the Undead situation and Richeron soon contacted his friend, Professor Berdrin Stormspanner, to help him. However, Berdrin grew attached to Fae, who aparently was as little more than an indentured slave to the Undead, and attmepted to free her of Esme's iron grip. He succeded, but, as a consequence, Fae lost her singing voice.

In order to help Fae recover her voice, Richeron contacted Fredon Náad. During the meeting with Fredon Náad and Annarima LaVey, Richeron was druged and a Demon was inserted in to his body. During, the next few days, Richeron unwittingly lived with two extra minds: that of the demon and that of a human called Maenon, who had recently died. As time went by, Richeron became slowly aware of the existence of another mind within his brain. However, most of the time the two minds remained dormant. The situation only altered in Ambermill, when Nathaniel Wheeler was being controled by his father. In the presence of the power energy node, the demon surfaced and started absorving the energy himself. A fight between the demon and Count Wheeler senior resulted in the Count's aparent defeat and in Nathaniel losing his mind. During the next few days, Richeron started showing extremely odd behaviour, and was soon talking gibberish with trees. Fortunatly, Merwyn Lindor Morghani, who was an old friend of Richeron's, used her unique knowledge of Essence Magic to find the demon and banishing it to an unkown location. Merwyn absorved the mind of the human Maenon, adding him to her collection. Richeron is now completely sane again.

Soon after Elizabetha Istro lost her eyes and when Honoria Detol Redcross vanished for a few days, Richeron went to the Blasted Lands in search of Honoria. Instead, he fell down a hole in to a complex of strange underground crypts of unkown origin. Inside, he found a strange glowing Orb and a few strange artifacts. After a few hours he managed to find an escape in time to reach one of the meetings of the Assembly of Stormwind.

During the time Elizabetha Istro recovered from the traumatic experience that lost her eyes, Richeron started having strange feelings towards her that were mostly new to him. Richeron only fully understood his feelings for Elizabetha when he started disliking men who gave Elizabetha flowers and were general too curteous of her. Elizabetha didn't take long to realise this and tactfuly reminded him of her vows. However, Richeron remained by her side as much as he could during the difficult times that followed and, to his utter shock and amazement, she started returning his feelings for her.

Sometime later, Richeron was seen reading a letter by the mail box and then running to the gryphon masters. Sonn after, he was seen in Darnassus asking around for information. He then vanished for a few days, until he was found hurt and sick at the Moonglade, by Elizabetha. At the Moonglade, Richeron asked Elizabetha Istro to marry him. On the 17th of February, Richeron was married to Elizabetha Istro by Sister Suzanne Bellmarsh at the Tomb of Uther the Lightbinger. They went to the Hinterlands on their Honeymoon. Very soon after, Elizabetha became preagnant.

Family Background

House Withamhall Duchess Eilyan Wrynn of Southern Westfall and sister to the ninth King of Stormwind married a man called Witham. They went to live in a hall in Stormwind and became known as Duke Witham of the Hall and Duchess Eilyan of Riverton. A century ago or so, the family lost all it's posessions and the title of Lord Withamhall was forgotten. The last Withamhalls were until now a simple family of farmers in Northshire.

Personal Notes

Richeron has exceptional speed-reading abilities, and a memory capable of storing vast amounts of theory knowledge. Being and exceptionaly curious (and consequentialy nosy) person, Richeron has read hundreds of books on practiacally every area of knowledge imaginable. He is a Jack-of-all-trades and a master of one or two. He has recently been working on a theory to explain the mechanisms of all magic known to him.

Even though Richeron is exceptionally inteligent for areas of knwoledge, he sometimes seems rather unexperienced in dealing with certain more social situations.

Agressive and Defensive Abilities

Richeron is rather inept at sword fighting, has slow reflexes and, physically, is not very strong. He does, however, have a very versatile repertoire of magic, and uses both Light and Arcane magic (sometimes simultaneously).

However, when angered enough, Richeron sometimes looses control of himself, becoming highly agressive. In this situation he feels less pain and uses Fire magic. In extreme situations, Richron becomes unstable. This, however, has happened very rarely (Twice), and always when the other party promises to hurt or take advantage of his wife in one way or another. After these situations are over, Richeron remembers nothing of the incident.

Current Status

Richeron is currently at the Cathedral of Stormwind, in a sort of coma, being treated for several injuries, including several head traumas and an almost completely removed finger. The Stormwind Guard is also collecting any information on the previous night's attacks. His situation upon awakening is described in the following story: "Who are you?"

Trivia

Richeron

Xahryn's impression of Richeron.

  • Despite his title (and name), Richeron is not rich. He has a steady income and a large house, but he wears no jewelery.
  • Richeron's pocket watch is in fact an ChronoArcanometer. It can tell the time quite acurately and it can measure the amount of trace arcane in the air. It is a relatively recent invention by a gnomish mage and engineer called Roudfus Fizzlespark (The son of one of the engineers who built the Deeprun Tram). There are only another six of these devices on Azeroth and there are even less people who can use them at all. (One of these belongs to the Archmage, another to the Fizzlespark himself and another to Richeron)

This device was lost in Felwood recently. Richeron aquired a new one from the maker, who is aparently working on an even better model.

  • Richeron can speak many languages such as: High Elven (quite well) and Elemental (reasonable) or Dark Iron (some basic knowledge learned from books). He knows a few words of the Archan Tongue that facilitate his use of Arcanum.
  • He usually has a large number of small objects in the many pockets on his blue robes: The ChronoArcanometer (Pocket watch), a gyrocronometer (An extremely acurate watch given to him by Berdrin Stormspanner), an Ornate Spyglass (Built by Diliamem Pentworth, of all people), various vials with medical substances and some empty ones, bandages, a strange looking staff that grows in size when he weilds it, a glass orb with a silver ring around it, a small mechanical squirrel and few other odds and ends.
  • Pets:
    • Small White Kitten called Shredder (He likes to shred things). He was given to him by Elizabetha. He is missing an eye.
    • A parrot that says: "A Spy! Kill him!" and "Don't let him get away!"
    • A mechanical Squirrel that can be controled manualy by a small control and that can record sound (First built by Neromordekai as a toy and then modified by Berdrin Stormspanner).
  • He usually prefers to wear Blue Robes and a red or purple cloak. However, he can sometimes be seen in golden chain armour with an orange shirt and a red cloak. Sometimes, he wears a silver nobility coronet.
