"The Suncrown Order is an autonomous organisation of militant blood elves headquartered within our majestic kingdom of Quel'Thalas. Operating from the Halls of Resolution, the Order maintains an unyielding vigil over the high lands to ensure that at all costs the children of the blood endure. Whether this monumentous task finds favour with the regent lord is open to speculation, but the fact remains that more and more blood elves find themselves drawn to the patriarch's powerful message."

Overview[]

Officially endorsed by the regent lord during the war against the Lich King, twenty seven years after the first opening of the Dark Portal, an ambitious gathering of young noblemen from houses such as the prestigious House Oakwarden and the scholary House Brightwater pooled their resources to forge a military order that would act as an outlet for the vengeance burning within their veins, and as a way of garnering honour for each of the houses whose noble sons and daughters would fight beneath its banner.

Initially unwilling to support such a wasteful gesture during the costly war, the regent lord turned to Lord Arramar Oakwarden; a veteran of many centuries warding away the Amani trolls, whose own daughter had intermingled with the youths. Appalled at the indecisive bickering between the regent lord's council, and the failures of his uncle, Lord Oakwarden quickly took to the reins. Angering many of the noble families at the beginning by ordering the construction of the Halls of Resolution with the significant resources they had promised to pledge, the now-styled patriarch would find amusement at their expense. Lord Oakwarden rid the order of its policy on the noble caste, opening up the Halls to skilled fighters and magi who could serve the interests of Quel'Thalas; further angering the founding houses.

Arramar and his servitors set down plans to contribute to the lengthly renewal of the wounded kingdom, well aware of the mounting tensions between the Horde and the Alliance. To date, the Suncrown Order wields great influence on the Horde Council of Independant Factions, and actively campaigns overseas to strengthen the ties between the Kingdom of Quel'thalas and the Horde.

History:[]

Lord Oakwarden's zealous and vindictive nature is reflected throughout the short history of the Suncrown Order.

Organisation & Structure[]

Location[]

Quel'Thalas[]

((Disclaimer: The building in the Royal Exchange is merely a representation of the Halls of Resolution that for obvious reasons cannot be shown in game, in a similar manner that the large town of Goldshire is only represented by an inn, a blacksmith and a house. We do not hold any claim to the building, although we ask that if we happen to be roleplaying in the building that you respect we were there first. Likewise we will extend the same curtesy if we happen to encroach upon roleplay not of our own.))

Applications[]

Applicants should read over the relevant introductory threads in the "Newcomer Assistance" subforum before heading over to the "Applications" subforum and submitting your application along with an IC dossier in the same thread.

http://s1.zetaboards.com/Suncrown/index/

Although the forum application is a purely OOC mechanic, the general rule states that every applicant's character forwards an IC dossier containing various details to Advisor Mournfire in conjunction with the OOC application. Our forum contains a section devoted to these character profiles, and you are welcome to post your own there after you have been accepted. The dossier is presented before the patriarch and his advisors, and, again in conjunction with the application, the patriarch decides whether or not to meet with the potential recruit.

After you’ve composed your profile on our forums we will discuss amongst ourselves and reply to your application within atleast three days. We'll then arrange a session of RP with the Order if you're successful. If we fail to respond, don’t hesitate to drop a message in your profile/application thread so that we're duly reminded. After all, everyone has real life matters to tend to as well, and they certainly have priority over World of Warcraft. If both the you and the Order are happy with one another after the introduction session of roleplay in game, you will be brought into the Order. When we feel you are ready after having spent some time with us, you will be given your Trial of Initiation, which you must carry out in character. After you passed your trial, if you are still interested in the Order, you will officially be granted the rank of Retainer - Our standard full-member rank.
